Ortalama 3-4haftada şişliklerin %70-80 geçmektedir ve gözle görülür bir düzelme olmaktadır, ancak iyileşme devam etmekte olup ortalama 1 yıl içerisinde son görünümüne kavuşur. İzli bir ameliyattır ve bu izler tamamen çamaşır içinde kalır. 1-2yıl içinde bu izler solmaktadır ve belli belirsiz hale gelmektedir.
